Kristen Harvey
Managing Director,
301 INC
As Managing Director of 301 INC, Kristen partners with external founders to take their companies to the next level, driving portfolio management and path finding for our external investments. Prior to this role, Kristen gained 10+ years of commercial experience across several of General Mills’ key platforms including Old El Paso, Betty Crocker, and Fruit & Salty Snacks. She also spent time dedicated to sales and promotional strategy within Kroger and other strategic growth channels such as Walmart and Club. She is passionate about solving problems, building connections, and fostering a collaborative culture to win as a team.
Kristen holds a BA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and resides in Minneapolis, MN. In her free time, she loves to travel, get outside, and is always up for an adventure.
Miles Swammi
Sr. Principal, Business Development,
301 INC
Miles is the Senior Principal of Business Development at 301 INC, General Mills' venture capital arm. Before joining 301 INC, he gained extensive experience within General Mills’ Corporate Finance division, holding various roles such as supporting club channel sales (Costco, Sam’s), driving global innovation in R&D, managing private equity investments for the company’s pension fund, and serving as an operations auditor.
Outside of General Mills, Miles has been active in the Twin Cities community as a board member of AchieveMPLS, where he led the Finance Committee as Treasurer. He also made a play as an entrepreneur, founding a live sports commentary platform, where he discovered his passion for startups and entrepreneurship.
Miles earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. In his free time, you’ll find him powerlifting, taking improv classes, or dodging injuries while playing in a rec league kickball team.
Taylor Sankovich
Sr. Principal, Commercial Partnerships, 301 INC
Taylor is a food industry enthusiast with a passion for helping founders build strong, high-growth businesses that will fundamentally change the food ecosystem. Since bringing five years of margin financing experience at UBS to brand management at General Mills, Taylor has led innovation on large, legacy brands such as Progresso, and strategy building on smaller, emerging brands in the Bars portfolio. Taylor now leads Business Development at 301 INC with a mission to seek out the most motivated and impassioned founders to help them realize their visions. She has particular interest in strategy development, new product innovation, supply chain resiliency, and – most interesting to her – development of deep understanding and empathy with consumers.
Taylor holds a B.A. in History from Yale University where she was on the Varsity Field Hockey Team. She remains heavily involved on the Yale Field Hockey Alumni Association Board. She also holds an MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business.
Steven Schweiger
Principal, Investments,
301 INC
Steven serves as the Finance Lead for 301 INC, providing financial leadership in strategy, deal sourcing and execution, and portfolio management.
Prior to his role at 301 INC, Steven's entire career was dedicated to institutional asset management. He joined General Mills in 2017 and held multiple roles of responsibility overseeing the investment strategy for the General Mills Pension. In his most recent role, he managed the Pension’s multi-billion dollar portfolio of private investments, which includes private equity, venture capital, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.
Steven holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He resides in Minneapolis, and outside of work, you can find him on the golf course, biking, or skiing during his free time.
